We provide the match, tips, and resources; you and your match decide the rest.

Our 4-week virtual mentorship programs are themed to support various groups in their professional journeys. So, if one of our programs doesn’t align with what you’re looking for, please request a program theme!

Our team is dedicated to hosting short (but sweet) mentorship programs to connect passionate individuals interested in taking the next step in their careers.

Whether you’re a mentor looking to get experience guiding individuals and sharing your journey OR a mentee hoping to receive some career guidance, you’re in the right place.

Each program’s theme is thoughtfully chosen to help specific groups navigate their career.

How the 4-Week Program Works

Apply

to one of our upcoming GEM Programs. Our team will review your application and get back to you ASAP! 

Provide your preferences

for a mentee or mentor once you’re part of the program. The more preferences you provide, the more accurate your match will be.

Get matched

with your mentee or mentor on the Start Day of the program. We’ll message details to you within our Slack community. You’ll be paired with them for the next four weeks.

Enjoy your 4 weeks of mentorship

with your match. In a 4-week period, we recommend creating at least 1 goal together and working to reach that goal at a pace that works for both of you. Meeting frequency, communication preferences, goal-setting, and any other details are all up to you and your match. Our team will provide the tools, tips, and resources for you both.

Throughout the program, we’ll provide tips and resources, such as conversation starters, creating SMART goals, and how to find success in a mentorship together.

What we ask of you

  1. Show up and be present. It takes two to tango in a mentorship, and virtual ones require extra dedication to show up and be present for your mentee or mentor. If you pick a meeting time or decide on a goal, engage actively. It’s only 4 weeks!

  2. Provide feedback to our Opal team. We want to constantly improve on our programs and hope you’ll consider coming back for a future program! ✨

  3. For mentees—consider buying your mentor a coffee. As mentors are taking time to show up for you, consider ways to give back to them beyond showing up and actively engaging in the program.
